The free cell phone perk
Every rental includes a local cell phone. This is genuinely useful. Use it for navigation without data charges, call the agency if you have issues, or reach restaurants and attractions.
If your phone plan has free international roaming, you may not need it. But if you're paying per-megabyte or don't want to deal with eSIMs, the included phone solves the problem.
Owner-operated difference
Ricky Semeleer and Anky Nucete started Wheels 2 Go in 2012 and still run it personally. When you rent, you may deal with them directly.
This matters when things go wrong. Flat tire at 8pm? You're calling Ricky, not a call center. Need to adjust your pickup time? No approval chain required. Problems get solved in minutes, not days.
The downside of small operations: less inventory during peak season. Book early if you're visiting December through April.
Location and logistics
Office on Washington Street in Noord, near the high-rise hotel zone. Convenient for Palm Beach stays.
Sunday closure is the main limitation. If your flight arrives or departs on Sunday, you'll need to arrange pickup/return on Saturday or Monday. Plan accordingly.
Airport pickup available; coordinate timing when you book. 24/7 road service means help is available even when the office is closed.
