Age 21 is the lowest minimum age we have seen among the Curacao agencies we compare. Most of the others that publish one start at 23. No deposit is taken at booking. The $350 refundable deposit is collected at pickup and released when the car comes back in good condition.
Best for: drivers aged 21 to 22 who get turned away elsewhere, and anyone landing at an odd hour. Not for: groups needing a van or a 7-seater. The fleet stops at a mid-size SUV.
Pricing and insurance
Rates start at $45/day for the Economy Small Car (Kia Picanto), $55/day for the Kia Soluto sedan and $65/day for the Toyota Rush compact SUV.
In our checks, a 7-day economy rental in early November came to $315. The midsize car was $385, the compact SUV $455 and the SUV $595 for the same week.
Collision damage waiver, loss damage waiver and third-party liability are included with a $350 own-risk deductible. Paying $20/day brings that deductible to zero. Unlimited mileage and one additional driver are included. Fuel is full to full.
The fleet
Four classes: Economy Small Car, Midsize Car, Compact SUV and SUV. The site names the Kia Picanto, Kia Soluto and Toyota Rush as the cars behind the first three.
It is a small, current fleet rather than a broad one. Book early in high season and keep a second agency open in your comparison.
Pickup, payment and cancellation
Airport pickup is by complimentary private shuttle. Hotel pickup is free from most properties. The Harbor Hotel office handles walk-ins.
They take Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Stripe card payments, plus cash in US dollars or Caribbean guilders. Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before pickup.
