What to know about Dushi Rentals

Open 9am to 9pm on weekdays and until 7pm on Saturday. Sunday is not a closed day: the site says they open for pick-up and drop-off.
Best for: travelers who want one of the widest class lists on the island and a free child seat. Not for: anyone who wants the deposit and age rules spelled out before booking. Neither is published.
Pricing and insurance
Advertised daily rates start at $34.65 for economy, $39.15 for comfort, $50.40 for premium, $54 for premium plus, $64 for the mini van and $69.30 for the standard SUV.
In our checks, a 7-day economy rental in early November came to $264. Comfort was $303, compact SUV $371, standard SUV $434, mini van $553 and the luxury sedan $678.
Third-party insurance is included in every rate. Collision cover is an add-on at three levels: $6/day leaves you $850 responsible, $10/day leaves $400, and $19/day leaves nothing.
The fleet
Eleven classes, from Economy through Comfort, Compact SUV, Premium, Standard SUV, Premium Plus, Compact Ultra, Mini Van, X-Large SUV in 7 and 8 seat versions, to a Luxury Sedan.
The two X-Large SUVs and the Mini Van are the only options here for groups of seven or more. Both X-Large classes were around $556 to $608 for our November week.
Booking and payment
Book online at dushirentalscuracao.com/make-rental-reservation. Payment by Visa, Maestro or American Express, or choose Pay later and hand over cash at delivery.
The person who books does not have to be the person who drives, as long as the driver brings a valid license.
